The NBA is better when the Knicks are good. Coming off a nine-game win streak they currently sit at number 4 in the Eastern Conference playoffs race. They have good coaching, promising young talent, and Julius Randle is having a breakout season. They also have the heart of Chicago in the form of Derrick Rose coming off the bench.

The Knicks acquired Derrick Rose in a midseason trade to the Pistons for Dennis Smith. Since that February 8 trade, The Knicks boast a 18 - 8 record when they dress the Chicago veteran. Rose - a Chicago kid through and through. Let’s remember some of these classic D. Rose bars from Chicago emcees and appreciate what Derrick Rose has meant for the culture.
